Welcome to Mouses, one of the most well-known and dedicated tavernas on Thassos! Located just 100 meters from the main ferry port of the island, in the capital town of Limenas, we’ve been serving and providing delicious meals in a warm and delightful atmosphere for over 8 years! We take our job very seriously and work hard to provide to all of our guests the best service and most delicious meals that they will ever experience on Thassos. We say guests because that’s how we see and treat all of our customers, with the utmost courtesy and respect, as if they are our personal friends. Friendly and fast service, delicious food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices are what make us such a great success and is the reason we see the same faces coming back time and time again!

We offer a large variety of fresh salads made with vegetables from our own organic gardens, excellent tender and lean meat that is hand-chosen from the local butcher by our food quality and safety inspector, fresh fish that is brought to us from local fishermen that made the catch in clean Thassos waters, exquisite Greek cuisines that are to die for and sometimes, on special occasions, our popular “Kotosouvli”, which is a delicious pork roast on a spit. Also very special that only Moyses has to offer, is home-made brick-oven baked bread! Eat it warm and dip it in our special garlic sauce and feel your taste buds become suddenly aroused! We have a large variety of beverages and drinks to go with your meal. Choose from cola beverages, juices, bottle and draught beer, bottle and house wine, ouzo, tsipouro (locally-made ouzo), retsina, a variety of alcoholic drinks, cocktails and coffees. What ever you may be in the mood for, we are sure to have it. If not in Mouses’ kitchen, then we‘ll definitely have it in our sister-kitchen “Le Muse”!

Entertaining our guests is as important to us as feeding them. That’s why two nights each week we have a live music stage where talented Greek musicians play and sing traditional and fun music for our guests’ amusement. Feel free to get up and join hands with others and dance the night away! If you need more drinks for motivation, we’ll be glad to provide them!
